Everyone should have someone,
On who they can depend.
A someone that you set aside,
To call them your true friend.

They always stand beside you,
They will never let you down.
And any time you need them
You can know they’ll be around.

They are right there laughing with you,
They will hold you when you cry.
They will tell you just the way it is,
To you they never lie.

If you’re wrong then they will tell you.
They will praise you when you’re right.
When you need them you can call them.
Anytime, day or night.

I have someone I call true friend.
I hope that you do too.
I thank God for the friend I have.
And I wish the same for you.
