The setting sun pulls another day over the horizon,
Another day that we will never again lay eyes on.
How we see this depends on how this day we stood,
Some are sad to see it go others glad it’s gone for good.
Perhaps I think too much about the moments that are lost,
How I let them slip away regardless of the cost.
Time is like a river disappearing in thin air,
As it flows by you have one chance and then it isn’t there.
As sand flows though an hourglass, our lives are passing by,
We stand and watch it flow away and never question why.
If I could make a special wish, and knew that it would be,
I would want to make the most of every opportunity.

but for the repercussions - this is a very thought provoking piece.
Time is precious even if we can't measure it. Perhaps we don't try and should! It might surprise us the differences that could be made. It makes us think-Great write!
