Chain of Memories

What will happen to my memories
When my time here is through?
Will I take my memories with me
Or will they be passed on to you?

As we go through our lives
Ever onward day by day
We make a chain of memories
As we go along our way

If it were not for memories
There would not be a past.
And though someday I’ll leave this world
My memory will last

Countless memories I have gathered
As I’ve gone along my way.
And this precious chain of memories
Gets longer every day.

Sometimes I like to find a place
Where I just stop to think
Of the many special memories
Forged in every precious link

Then I’ll take out a memory
And I’ll put it in a rhyme
Taken from my chain of memories
Ever reaching across time

Many times I've heard the saying, you can't take it with you, but when it comes to memories I'm taking mine with me. They are all mine and I'm keeping them. On second thought maybe I can't keep them all because I'm allready starting to get old timers disease. Now I forgot the subject!

Jack we all have the same questions but the
answers are like a tower of babel. Each
with a different one. Maybe this is what
God intended. And by the way Jack, I have
taken up the crusade to help the two
missing children. I have added a little
info on my site and am featured Linda's
poem. We invite you to help carry the
crusade by posting at all the sites where
this article can be effective and doing all
you can to provide additional means for the
search. Denise Enise (AD author) ... has
contacted Amber Alert. So that is one
step. Maybe you can keep this going and
suggest and use any contact you might think
of. Thank you so much. Linda Mae & Bill
Murray.
