What can we say, what can we do,
To make the dreams we dream come true ?
Is it what we do or what we say,
Or do dreams just come true as they may?

Some work their lives away it seems
Pursuing far and distant dreams
In hope to someday know the thrill
Of having all their dreams fulfilled

Some close their eyes and dream at night
Of someone close to hold them tight
Others sit and dream each day
Of another life so far away

Some dream of places not so cold
Some will dream of wealth untold
Some people find it hard to dream
Others dreams just flow like streams

So many things we dream about
Most of them things we are without
But then sometimes to me it seems
We chase after someone else’s dreams

I like to stop from time to time
And dream the dreams that I call mine
Why do I dream the way I do?
Because I know that dreams come true .
