I am no where near a perfect man,
I’ve never claimed to be.
As you well know from all the years,
That you have been with me.

But through all the imperfections,
You see what lies inside.
A man that loves you more today,
Than the day you were his bride.

We’ve come a long way you and me,
The kids are grown and gone.
Life has given endless memories,
That we can look back on.

We don’t need a lot of money,
Without a mansion we can do.
I can do without a fancy car,
All I really need is you.

How dark a place my life would be,
If I could not call you mine.
Even the moon in all its glory,
Needs the sun if it’s to shine.
