You described my garden exactly but spring comes long before the butterflies return here, in fact we don't see butterflies here until well into the summer. It's still an excellent poem.

Me too! I love butterflies and have a few poems about my winged friends. In this poem the air is void of the flutter of color and the reader will agree to missing the Monarchs, Swallowtails and all the other animated colors gives us to appreciate.

Jack that was wonderful! The rhyme and the imagery, it was like a film before my eyes. Or a diary found in some forbidden place, now opened up to a world of greatness. Great and creative poem.
