Countless are the hours
We have worked here side by side
You’ve been the wind beneath our wings
The one on which we have relied

But now your day has come
That day for which we all desire
After all these years
The day has come you will retire

With envy we will watch you
Make the last scan with your card
Though we are happy for you
We will take it kind of hard

But we will not look at this day
As if it is the end
For you this simply is the day
Your new life will begin

But this long chapter of your life
It has come to an end
Though we no longer work together
We will be forever friends
