What does it mean to be a friend I’ve thought about it so I think it means a lot of things That everyone should know It means to share the laughter It means to share the tears When chips are down you’ll be around To chase away the fear When they need someone to listen They know you’ll lend your ear And anytime they need advice You will always be sincere For you they’d go the extra mile To turn your frown into a smile And then they’d do it all again And all because they are your friend Friendship is a sort of love A special kind of glue I’m blessed you see, because I know I have a friend in you Jack Roberts – January 28, 2004

This is so so sweet and so true,

friendship is a treasure
beyond any measure,
as are these lines
