The Bond

What is the glue that bonds we two
That we should be called friends
A bond so strong that last so long
Is hard to comprehend

When friends so true like me and you
Can not be torn apart
You know the bond we hold so fond
Comes deep from in the heart

Now if my friend my life should end
And I become the past
The love we knew, this friendship true
Will still forever last
