Transcendental Sonnet #1218: *That's All* *I didn't think I was but some called me good* *At least I always did whatever I could* *Took care of sick people alone for ten years* *Twelve if you count it another way and tears* *Are about all I have left of my life now* *(I could never live bereft of my wife now)* *I could've done worse I wrote a lot of verse* *Wrote a lot of music which nobody cares* *About not even me but nothing compares* *To the simple truth that somebody loved me* *Something which I thought I'd never live to see* *I've made a difference however small I know* *Sometimes felt like I've failed and like letting go* *I've tried to do good... did what I could... that's all* *+Steven Curtis Lance* *Copyright MMV Silke LLC*
