So Late it Was Early Up so late it was early so I went To Starbucks to set a new precedent And I was first a first for me at five The girl and I surprised to be alive In darkness as the only ones who were She asked what I would have I said to her "Surprise me" as she had already done And as I had her too and it was fun Some coffee so strong I needed a spoon A big fluffy bagel under the moon A few stars twinkled blue as they knew soon The night would be over when we must all Arise from summer dreams into the fall Stars and girls and bagels and coffee-spoons Fall's rising suns and summer's setting moons +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMV

Hey Steve.. An early Adventure out I see, Good for you~! This poem is catchy and cute- Glad I'm not the only one I see that likes to stay up past 2:00A... Sometimes I'm up till 4:10, then my eyezzz start a rollin'- It's cool to feel in anOther dimension- I'd like mine hazelnut please~ I like your quick response--Surprise Me... Mmmm... sounded like a special morning-and your bagel was slathered with cream ch. right- Be thinkin' of ya's early soon enough- WArm HuGs2U-Lady,Sheeeox

Thnx Steven for this wonderful poem. I said a lot to those of us who do stay up so late that we go out so early. I too stay pretty much by myself, a caterpillar afraid to come out and spread her wings. I feel all alone and so lonely at times, it makes me cry. My fiance keeps making excuses not to come to me, or offer for me to come to him. But this poem does speak of being our own person. Thnx brother for sharing. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be wit you always, and at your side constantly.
