Holiday Snowfall

they're falling
drifting down
big beautiful snowflakes
covering the ground

they're evoking gleeful feelings
nods to holiday expectations
those of generous intention
filled with heartfelt expressions

they're proclaiming seasonal greetings
times of reverence and thankfulness
days enjoyed with family and friends 
times of love and happiness

they're falling
sacred offerings of pristine white
big beautiful snowflakes
covering everything within sight

I love the gleeful feeling of the first snowfall. Especially if it is on a Holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Ahhh Gwen, as our ground is already covered in snow and we are expecting more tomorrow as a Mall Santa (start that tomorrow as well) I love to see the white stuff.

Holiday snowfall is truly a wondrous thing. And I don't think I could live anywhere that didn't have some.

Beautiful. The only thing falling outside here are leaves. LOL It's colder, but no snow: come Thanksgiving, we could have severe weather! Winter in the South: gotta love it. *sigh* I miss snow ... well done.
