To the reader. It is said that: Fish - gotta swim, & Birds - gotta fly. Realizing that I , myself understands that I'm just a human being living on God's - land. The space where I live...I think that the BUGS were here first but does this mean that they have to take-up residence on my head in-my AFRO HAIR? Just-a-thought & not a COMPLAINT on my part! I'm not in full control of my environment or the fate of-my HAIR. GOD is. In the book of Matthew 10:30, reminding us with these words...But the very HAIRS of your HEAD are NUMBERED. Thanks to all & enjoy the read.

BUGS - IN - MY - HAIR...OH... I KNOW, YOU'RE IN-THERE! I SEE YOU WALKING & CRAWLING, ALONG THE "HAIR-LINE" OF MY TEMPLE, IT"S SIMPLE! GIVING-ME "GRIEF" , BECAUSE OF THE "GREASE" ... THAT I USE IN MY HAIR... - IT'S CONFUSED-BY-THE "FRAGRANCE" FROM MY "miss-care-all" ... SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONING - RINSE...EVER SINCE ... BUGS - IN - MY - HAIR ...OH ... I KNOW, YOU'RE IN - THERE! RUNNING-THROUGH-THE WAVES & THE CURLS OF MY "AFRO" ... , GUESS? ... THERE'S - NO-WHERE ELSE THAT YOU CAN ... GO? SCANNING ... ON THE "SCALP-FOLLICLE (S) - SPORES" FUNNY? LOOKING - FOR DANDRUFF, TO REST - ON, OR "CHEW" ... OH ..., SOMEBODY PLEASE ..., JUST TELL-ME WHAT TO DO?! ... BUGS - IN - MY - HAIR ... I DIDN'T PUT-THEM THERE,I ...SWARE! WHEN I GO RIDING...ON-MY BIKE,OR I WALK OR TAKE-A-HIKE... THEY SEE MY "BIG" HAIR COMING; THEN THEY ALL JUST KEEP ..., ON ..., BUZZING . NOW ... I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO"NATURAL-WOMEN" ...DO YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM TOO? BUGS - IN - MY - HAIR ... COULD I -KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE? ANNOUNCE YOURSELF..., AND-JUST "BOUNCE" -YOURSELF... GO ON GET-OUT, GOT TO BE SOMEWHERE ELSE. OTHER THAN, ON MY HEAD & IN - MY "STRAND (S)" . AM ... I ... -CLEAR, YOU HEAR ... AND DO YOU TRULY ... "UNDERSTAND" ...? BUGS - IN - MY - HAIR ... NOW ... I REALLY DON'T CARE . OH ..., OH ..., OH ... "BUT" I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE . "COME-OUT" OF THIS "DAME" ... AND IN-THE NAME-OFJESUS! FREEZE & CEASE ,... STOP THE "HAIR - ASSMENT" PLEASE ? I like this poem and its funny. It made me think of the southern hairdos. And bugs don't think or care about the age of the hair do. In addition, I am happy that this writer became aware of her circumstance.

Ha! So FUNNY! Spray a lemon scented buggy hairspray up there. Then pray they GO AWAY! LOL

TIP: Most bugs do NOT like lemon and will bug-off!

Natural fluffy hair is the wildest thing wnen they're let loose. I would not put too much cream or ointment in your hair. After washing just coat it with a thin layer of oil, then let your hair go loose and wild. Try that! It may be a beauty to behold, and less bugs will bother your hair. If they do, just shake your hair and give it one wild fluff, the bugs will be gone in no time at all!!! Enjoyed your poem!

This one is funny unless you're the one it's happening to. I can no longer swat or brush away bugs that occasionally land just out of reach and then tend to drive me crazy, unable to do anything about them unless I get someone else to do it. No, you're not alone. And, some ointments and beauty enhancements will attract bugs like the fruit flies that like to commit suicide in my wine every evening.

Have you tried going naturale, without all these beauty enhancements? Bugs may not be attracted to soap and water.
