Winter Tree Song

 

Beneath your bough a concert playing the season’s melody

Absorbed by my soul singing gracefully the whisper of the winter chill

That reddens my ears and clutches my breath until released into wispy vapor that

Dissolves into nothing as the frost gathers on the needles that whistle sorrow’s end

It is always a brighter day when sorrow slips away. Winter Tree Song is a beautiful piece of poetry.

Sorrow or winter best be gone soon, the constant flaking, is weighing me down, leaving only a much depressed block of ice, that will not thaw in the short five month of so called summer. It was nice to see your perspective of such things. Patrick. Jasmin Horst
