--> *She loves my 57 chevy* My new sweet heart says she's ready, for a ride in my 57 chevy She's sure not heavy, she's lean and mean, take a ride in her, I'm ready I used to have a beauty just like her, she was sure fun to ride I loved the way she moved, when I slipped inside She was smooth, built for comfort, boy what a ride She sure knew how to make this man, feel alive I know she looks like she's been, with alot of other guys Don't fool your self, she feels just like velvet inside Oh lord please tell me, this is not a sin For I can't wait much longer, to slide right in There's not a man, in this whole word who's alive If had the chance, could resist taking this beauty for a ride Well I can't help it, I may be old, but I'm sure not snooty I 'am sure going to take a long slow ride, in this beauty Hey honey, where are you going, why do you look so upset!! Oh boy are you setting the clock back. I had a 55 Chevy and the thing was a tank and I absolutely loved it too! To this day I say it was the best car I ever, ever, ever, ever had. All these years later and I still miss my Chevy . Yes, why can't I be a teenager in love just one more time, fantastic write....

I love the humor in this. Cute. But they don't make them like they used to, and this reminds me of Billie Jo Spears song Fifty Seven Cheverolet. If I could find one I'd buy it in a second because it wa made a lot better than the ones they make now.

You say you are not a poet, but after reading this free verse poem you can't prove that by me. I think you write wonderfully and as you say right from the heart. That is where all poetry comes from. Thank you for saring.
