Beans beans the magical fruit
Well you know the rest
As a child ~ this was a hoot

Let's fry up the onions ~ yes put in the dogs
Add in the beans
Tonight I sure won't sleep like a log

The phone it's a ringing
Who could it be?
You eating healthy she's a singing
It's my sister ~ you see

Beans and wieners ~ I answered with a moan
There was absolute silence on the phone
Not to worry I told her with a groan
You know ~ I live alone
