THE BAN THE TELE-SALES SOCIETY

Tele-sales Ugh!

There's two in house

one up one down

whenever they ring

we seem to put them down,

always this voice

sweet full of charm

trying to sell

twist my arm.

Then on occasions

it rings and we stir

but hesitate incase

its you know them again.

Then the light flashes

the answer machine

someone we would love to call

saying they'll call again.

Quickly we call back

but to no avail

they have gone,

so we blame the tele-sales

Whats the point of a phone

if we are never home

always avoiding

the tele-sales drone.

'And just for you, it will be half price

all you have to do is,

sign the dotted line.'

Maybe I will

sign Mickey Mouse

just to get them of my case

tell em I live in Disneyland

maybe they'll think

'He's not worth the chase.'

Maybe I can answer my phone

let people know

I am at home.
