There's a coat in my hall
not mine at all
been haging around
for some time.
Someone who came
must have left it behind
I wonder who belongs to this coat?
Its an odd sort of coat
kind of male but could be not
has a cut thats
well you know
shaped in a way
yet its masculine not gaye?
I have racked my brains
inside out
to ascertain the whereabouts
as to who
belongs to this coat.
Made myself rather ill
left it in my will
that the owner might be restored
to their coat,
so until
that day arrives
there it just hangs on a hook
waiting for the owner
who belongs to that coat.
