Funny man yet looking sad
cane in hand
his clothes look bad,
but he makes you laugh
sometimes a tear.
Walking around twirling his cane
his steps appear
he should maybe
put his shoes on again.
As he walks
he eyes a girl
follows her wherever she goes
a tramp following a dream
and in the end what do you know.

if only I had seen you
on your sets for real,
what a gift
that would have been

for what you left.
