Fictional poem of a dog I often see.
*My dog has three legs* *and uses them well* *not only to get around* *but get sympathy and how.* *But watch him perform* *bad habits he had em all* *still cocks his leg* *and has a fall,* *attempts to scratch* *with no leg there* *people watch confused* *as he seems to groan* *when all the time* *nothings there.* *But you watch him run* *thats his special feat* *cant do a straight line* *with only three feet,* *always to right* *off he errs* *confuses the cats* *who watch bemused.* *But a three legged dog* *he is still the same* *and thats the way* *he will remain.*

Cute,I know this was done in humor, but I did have a cat of many years that I made a walker for when she lost the use of her hind legs from a stroke. Think I did a pretty good job for her too. She could not jump any more, but she could still walk and followed me everywhere...
