A nightmarish coach journey.

I was on a coach

looking out of the window

minding my buisness

as we came to a pick up,

some people got on

a man sat beside me

he yawned and said

'I am very tired excuse me.'

I gestured thats fine

as the coach rolled on out

then fifteen minutes later

he was stoned cold asleep.

Leaning his head on my shoulder

snoring so loud

everyone looked over.

I tried to move him

but then he fell

across my lap

snoring merry hell.

people looked to see

what was the racket,

I tried to explain

he was not with me,

and the more I moved

the crazier it got to be.

For nearly an hour

I was in this resposture

trying to say

look its nothing improper.

Then came my stop

I slapped him around the chops

then hurried off

embarrassed you see

all his dribble was over my knee.

As the coach pulled away

the people looked

and he waved

me I headed home.

Never again

will I use the coach

instead I will take the train.
