What is reality, when you dream.

*Inside my head* *at least I think it still is* *somewhere hidden away* *that place that I dream.* *Never been seen in reality* *with open eyes* *yet so vivid* *so real* *inside my head.* *It is so beautiful* *I cannot turn away* *yet when I awake* *it just fades.* *So why does it tease me* *make out it is so real* *why am I allowed to go there* *only when I dream,* *why when I awake* *do I feel so sad* *want to return* *never come back.* *It has to exist* *it has dimensions so real* *I can taste the fruit* *the flowers* *I can smell.* *So stop this game* *you errant mind* *next time I awake* *leave me behind,* *leave me there hidden away* *in that beautiful place* *that I know so well.*
