Needless to say, today is a proud day for every American and certainly a historic day...to the enlightenment of the entire world. We love you...Mr. Obama!

Poem Artwork

This day and you...

cajoles treasured memories...of those

who paved your way

This day...and you

our proud history, endeared...afresh

glistens...with every display

*

This day and you...

I see 'flown' pioneers...hovering

near and far

Yet, not one of them would mean...

anything...without the other's

...excellence 'par'

*

You've done us proud...with no regret

our spirits soar

...your promises kept

God...fashioned you for a time as this

a Nation United...

Democracy's bliss

*

Run on, run on...O customed soldier!

hence, years from now when you have left...

those coveted...White House Steps

Age shall not dim...nor time forget

your earned respect from foe and peer

 which etch our Capitol walls...revere

*

Faithful, Worthy and proven True

we are more than grateful Mr. Obama...

for...This day, This day and You

Ps 47:4

That was a fine and encouraging endorsement, Joyce. I was shocked when Trump was elected... ...and dismayed. How quickly time flies. Love, peace, and blessings to you,

Regis. ✝☮🍁🌺

What a way to cheer him on his second term. When I look back at the first, I see many changes that so many are fighting against. But the sea of change is so great and the tide is so strong that those who oppose will find that they were wrong. It will take time, but with what he will accomplish in this term, Barack Obama will rank among the greatest, like Abraham Lincoln.

I wish him well when he leaves the house he is in, and hope our Country hasn't gone into bankruptcy. But it's his day and may God give him a long life.
