What is the role of man in returning to oneness
with all creation? Can reflecting on this message
help to answer this question?
Sometimes while walking,
especially in the woods,
I see a squirrel climbing a tree,
a deer gazing and looking,
seemingly in all directions,
and hear a bird singing,
I stop and become real quiet.
While observing these creatures
that existed before I did,
comfortably together,
I wonder what can I learn from them
and I think about the time when
they and I were together - when
we were one.
When they saw me they scatted
away from my sight.
And I thought about what questions
they may have asked me and
how would I answer.
