Cuts And Slash For Words!

It's good to smile or laugh some time, it can exercise one's face!

The rain dashes down with a great splash

It falls upon whom it chooses to wash

The wise sees a rain cloud and to a shelter dash

But the shelter less prepares to settle for a wash

Whilst the thunder rolls and with a great clash

The lightning swiftly starting to flash

With rising water doing many out of cash

While everything else goes to the trash

A poet writes but where is the cash

Because he rushes he does a slapdash

It seems he does it just for a brash

Readers read but hold on to their cash

Then all the poems ended up into the trash

Yet a poet will ever writes to whitewash

Whoever fines time to read and laugh?

As well as one may just as well cough

Even so, a poet writes, we read and laugh

Too bad for those who just read and cough

The rain dashes down with a great splash

It falls upon whom it chooses to wash

I certainly have never written with intent of making money. Good points, Clarence. Love, peace, and blessings to you,

Coz we barely do it for the.money.. It's the screaming muse sitting next to us.. We are lucky, there are still some who enjoy their quiet moments reading..

A little rainfalls in everyone's life. I'm hopeful that we can laugh often and laugh well.

I was looking for laughter in these words, but found only wisdom. ;-)

As I've mentioned before people write for many purposes. Some write just to connect with their friends and the world. As those one-liners on the twitter and facebook, some old folks tweet daily to let others know they're still alive and kicking. People write for many reasons, some write to entertain themselves and others. Not everyone write for a living, because it does not pay much to begin with. I write leisurely for many years because I DO have a full-time job to go to everyday. However, when I really set my mind to publish my books, I feverishly worked non-stop painting, writing, formatting my pages for printing, put them into printing, paper-cutting, book-binding, selling... I've done all that work by myself at first. I worked 'til 4:30 a.m. every morning, slept for a couple of hours, woke up and went to my full-time job in the day. Each one of my work (books) is published with sweat, hardwork, and dedication; and if any one thinks that being a published author is by chance or the money made is by accident, they don't know the meaning of the hardwork that goes into each project. Later, I've discovered lulu.com and my books had become much easier projects. People can say whatever they like about others' work, but they cannot discredit the hardwork and dedication an author has put through so that there is a book for all to read. Just telling like it is. I certainly would not think of another author's work that when they sell it's by accident.

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
