is lies.

You tell me your love
is nonpareil, then you put
my weakness on display.
This seems to motivate your ego.
Am I a brace, your crutch, a
stop along the way?

You think this macho
exterior has no feelings.
The body is strong but the
heart and soul are
vulnerable.

You played me
once too often. I will
move on to brighter
tomorrows and a
quest for happiness.

You are too late.
Tears mean nothing,
you cried wolf before.
