Just a bit of silliness about what COULD happen at the golden gates!
She lived her life in a blaze of glory
Burned out by sins at the age of forty
She clung to life by a slender thread
By the age of fifty she was finally dead.
At heavens' gate she stood and trembled
The honest souls were there assembled
"Why am I here?" she whispered softly,
"My deeds on earth were far from lofty."
Saint Peter pushed the others aside
And walked toward her with steady stride
"My child you're here, this is no fraud,
I want you here - you're a good lookin' broad!"
"At heavens' gate I stand all day,
But when night comes, I'm here to say
It's LONELY and that may sound corny,
But even Saint Peter can get quite horny!"
The tarnished angel had found her home,
'Ore heaven's acres she could now roam,
For though her life had been full of sin,
Saint Peter thought her "good" enough to let her in.

I was checking if maybe you had posted something else and saw this. I missed it the first time. I love it now as I did the first time I read it. Great!
A naïve councilman and a down-on-her-luck single mom try to save their county’s last stand of forest from greedy developers and a dysfunctional government.
