I wrote this in June right after I received a publishing contract for my first novel....I was so elated....it felt like the fairy tale had come true and my Prince had finally arrived!!
I knew one day my Prince would come
The tarot cards foretold
Of a life of fame and fortune
Gilded trunks piled up with gold.
I waited patiently in my tower
My laptop on my lap
Constructing rhymes and stories
And a lot of other crap.
One day a letter came to me which
Caused my heart to flutter
‘Twas almost as yummy a feeling
As fresh corn dripping with warm butter!
A publisher was writing me to say
They’d given it a look
And after due consideration
They’d like to publish my book.
The contract I signed and sent right back
My goal indeed was met
My “Prince” had arrived and carried
Me off into the bright sunset.

Just the first of many Prince's to come until the "King" novel you will write blows the American literary snobs away and the whole world will say you name. And guess what? I can say, I knew her when!
A humorous look at the world and life through my eyes.
Follow the author and his wife, as they travel the world …. several times over.
Laugh at their funny stories, self-inflicted crazy events, strange observations, wacky zoo facts and snippets
