The wind is in the west bright breeze flows along the shoe and across the dock September calm cool eventide of summer-- fall not yet here summer not yet gone a momentary pause in nature’s rush of seasons. September has wondered in and paused turning this way and that the moment passes and September begins to shuffle off towards October.

I think it is timely, but besides that, i like how you captured the fact that September lingers through the seasons, a really effective image and word choice.
