wild fire season in the western mountains this year. the sheer magnitude of these fires boggles the mind. some day i'll write a poem that captures the grandeur and the horror, til then:
red sun in grey sky a certain taste on the wind forest fire

This was great, you certainly know how to write haiku`s. We were on alert over here a couple of weeks with the prolonged heat. Cant imagine the sheer power of what you describe about over there.
