Music�Before the next teardrop falls�

"Last Spin Of The Sun" With the last spin of the sun And flames within every grain Black silence mourn� Crying in vain Everybody�s world now dying Hell breaks lose Roaring Ocean crying And with the wind in my hair The east wind chills my body Hell winds and sea collides once again As both quench their thirst The night is near And no sailors are welcome here Rough sea not so gentle at heart As howling wind rips you apart Winding wind sing by the rocks As crying clouds was breaking Down come the rain At the last spin of the sun Everybody�s world now Drowning Copyright �2004 Tinka Boukes All rights reserved; and may not be reproduced in any way without permission from the author.

I've never been in a storm like that -- escaped a tornado -- just barely, been in plenty of earthquakes, but never a hurricane. Nature has its way, we must respect its power. I'm glad you're okay.

well... certainly a bit of a downward spiral feel. your original phrasing and vivid descriptions are so excellent here. i FELT that last spin of the sun (awesome image) and life drowning. It's what a poem should do.
