"Two Spirits"

Tears I shed playing this part

Two spirits in one single mind

Left me O’ so blind

To dance into light

But hide in the darkness

The subject of rejection

Hateful reflection

Yet for the pleasure of the heart

Though fed with dirt

On wings of joy I fly

A kindred virgin heart so kind

To trouble the heart of another

Who listens to my desperation…?

To succeed ain’t that cool…ain’t that fare

Perfect time is near

All I need is wait!!

On wings of joy I fly

Those are truly the type of wings we all need, Tinka. Hope you can use them, and fly high.

There's an ache in this piece that maybe cookies can help with, Tinka... :) It makes me want to wrap myself in a warm, snuggly jacket and walk through Fall-touched forests where leaves are coloring and falling... But at the same time, feeling like a stronger person.

Did you eat them all? ;) Ha, I bought one of those Break-Off packages of chocochip cookie dough last night, got too busy to make them, and when I remembered, it was late, so I broke off a couple chunks and ate the dough!! Yummy!
