“Somebody’s Baby Snuggles”
I was Somebody’s Baby Snuggles once
And that somebody was you
Since the day you captured my heart
I believed…and trusted the thought
No one could ever make us grow apart
I was somebody’s Baby Snuggles once
And that somebody was you
I couldn’t let you go
Cause God knows I loved you so
My love will never die
No matter how hard I try
I was somebody’s Baby Snuggles once
And that somebody was you
I met my Baby Boy way back when
While there was still no Authors den
On a foggy night… when I was blue I found you
With an empty heart and a broken soul
Recovering from a roller coaster relationship
Hand on the mouth thinking
Trying to unwrap bitter feelings
I tripped myself in heartache time and time again
And fell flat on my face…falling for you
Tap-dancing to your “promised land”
But our journey ended sadly….yeah!!
When someone took my Baby Boy’s heart
And left mine scattered like a million grains of sand
I was somebody’s Baby Snuggles once
And that somebody was You

ATB to you, perhaps it's time for a change of pace, type etc :)
Love
Ch'erie
You have always been someones babysnuggles. That is the story of your life. The wheel turns and turns and first you get on and then off. All the love poems in the world are useless unless the love is returned as given. I feel so sorry you choose to live and act this way; dying a little more every day. The battle is too strong for you. He has made certain of that. You are in his control. And always want what you can't have. Love the one who loves and stop all this crap.

I can understand this and see,
But you have strength beyond,
That of anything I can say or respond,
I know from the time I have known you,
This too shall pass,
Your future will then, even this, surpass...
Peace and Friendship, Ed & rufuz

A great image - a 'pains'-taking write ... terrific my friend!!

Isn't that what they usually say? But "they" weren't facing the same pain, were they?
I can relate to this one...and it IS song material, Tinka.
A painful piece.
A true heart stays the course..
