Just poetry...I am okay!!

*******

"Numb"

With eyes dry and no tear to flow
The fiber of this old heart tear
Trying to hold infinity in the palm of my hand
Oh I am nothing now…
As I entered into judgment with you
I loved and gave all my soul
I gave you all… my delight… my heart
I cry in bitterness of soul now
Fearing the joy to love… or losing again
With eyes dry and no tear to flow
Numb… thorns now my only delight
I saw love I never had seen… knowing you
Oh! I am nothing now… but a friend
Embracing the thought of knowing you
Still trying to hold infinity in the palm of my hand
Seeking to keep my soul
A victim of love and understanding
Numb I stand…
As the fiber of my heart tear
With eyes…
Not dry anymore
Golden tears flow freely now
Washing away the pain of all knowing
All loving… numb

Pain-filled, emotive write Tinka. You express the loss of a love quite well. Also, you leave room for hope though, by being a friend. ~ Sara
