Little Bird On The Move

I am like this little bird in the wind
Yesterday I was still a child
Tomorrow there might be stormy winds
Yesterday is long gone
As I stand here under the silvery moon
The rest of the world is on the move
I know the value and facts of life so well
But tomorrow will remain a close book
I am this little bird
I am the wind
A voyager child
Still connected to my heart
Tomorrow’s dreams might forsake me
And Yesterdays dreams has turned away
Although I am standing in this dark night
Although I can hear names been called out
I still search for the hand
That deals the card
I am this little bird in the wind
In the wind… always on the move
To find some one
That’s so very close
Within my heart!!
My soul mate!!

Oh Tinka I am full of chills. This is just ... I love this.
...A voyager child
Still connected to my heart...
and that is what you will always be. Tinka this leaves me speechless. The innocence you've never let get lost shines through this poem! Bravo! Standing ovation!

Sing to me my little bird I say
Before you too, so fly away.
These bars are thick I cannot bend
What would I, a captive heart amend.

And birds are marvelous creatures. Fly On, Little Bird - and I truly hope you find that which you seek.

So cute and reminds me of the truly compassionate nature of love birds - they honestly seem to exhibit traits of human love and grief in their "animal" behaviour. The picture and title, however, just made me think, sadly, of the parrot quarantined at Heathrow on Sunday, diagnosed as having Avian Flu, so that's a bit tragic!! :(( May you/s/he find cause to fluff them feathers again soon! :)) TY for your "congrats"!! Couldn't have "done" it without all your support! xxxx

"Little Bird On The Move" sings romantic beauty under the rhythm of
poetic excellence; - first to the last words - enchantment, harmony, and colors on the rainbow of dreams.
