Hearts

Eyes touched
As hearts break daily
The end for so many

******************

Hearts

Day by day I feel this powerful rhythm around me
It fills my lonely hours
But I am still alone
You brought some happiness into my life
Happiness that was lost for so very long
I believe I was born to search for your love
To strive for some happiness
To soar on wings of friendship
Without asking what tomorrow might bring
And I know I am here for some reason
But will I ever find what I am looking for
If my feelings are pure
If it was love
Do you feel the same as I do?
How will we ever know?
If we can’t say what we really feel
And respond to that
Why search
Just to find
Nothing

sometimes love remains elusive but we must not refrain from searching ... true love never comes easy if it comes at all ...
