While dusk shades quickly fall And I sit and dream Of my love afar As I take a sip From my coffee mug A guinea fowl Utters his agonizing wail Like a greeting barrow wheel He seeks… Though it is far to late Just like for you and me A Mate to share his tree And so make Less night’ Loneliness Together in a Gloss – leaf – tree Or maybe web – tee - vee They share sleep Mingled with dreams and fear And at the approach of ruin Not die alone I am to blame Auch !! What a shame I slipped and fell Before I could dwell So they sped With violent flight Into the night I did say It was my fault They did not return To their Gloss – leaf – tree For I made them and You The “Hell” In He he he he Hi sleepy head This is me I’m back!! Okay!!
I just looked into your front page and for some reason you picture provoked a smile. There's a quality in it that comes through your poems -- I think that's why I read them and like them so much; not just that they're well written, but I just realized as I looked at your image, how strongly your loving, funfilled, and gentle soul comes through your words. :-)
Ok, Tinka...where did you sneak off to and exactly what did you do while you were missing in action??? I want details, no holding back on the good/bad stuff!! OK? LOL
Take care,
Sherry
