"Teardrop So Bittersweet"

Every word so dear

Written within a song

“Love Travels”

Left me restless and blind

As I closed my eyes

Headphones capped in hands
As each word melt into my ears

Into this heavy movement in time
As the glowing sun slowly disappears
Marking the beginning of a new day
It is when I try to go to rest
Resisting the temptation of another tear
And as my mind continues to roam
Not really forgetting our last meeting
As promises was made…but
Through this house with everybody asleep
I walk forth and back … longing, waiting
As time passes by… gazing through the window
Into darkest dark of night
Action catches up with me
Thinking about only you
And the space between us
As teardrops so bittersweet starting to flow
I embrace myself… I close my eyes
I can feel you as I call out your name
I love you baby
Can you feel my pain?
Though we have love to gain
The glowing sun still goes down
But within my midnight hour so blue
I am still embracing

Love so true

Ahhhh love is such a painfully sweet emotion that although the outcome sometimes fails the lover lingers like a scent on the breeze for the rest of one's life. We can eithter embrace it as part of our past or let it take control and dictate the rest of our life. Hope your choice is the first sweet Tinka.

Tinka,

Long distance love is difficult, at best. Powerfully, emotively penned longing, very well done.

(((((HUGS))))) and love, Karla.

This is EXCELLENT write and filled with love and longings; and I enjoyed the music immensely. You can hear me sing this song in my BIO's page.
