Tinka, sleep is medicine..so is the knowledge that life moves forward and you move with it...towards the end of a cycle ...where a new beginning awaits

Meanwhile, you write so well...take comfort from your gift and your friends' prayers and well wishes...and your own strength. Sometimes we don't realize how much strength we have...it's living through the horror that proves inner strength.

Tinka....I love you.........STEP BACK from the emotions! LOOK at your situation OBJECTIVELY...what would YOU tell your BEST FRIEND to do? "Get out", right? - That's exactly what YOU should do! I second Peter and Susan and Richard and Panda and Art - WE GET IT!!!

The strength to do it...is IN you. Love does NOT maim or harm ...
consider this "PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT ALL FEAR" ANY type of fear, does NOT reflect love...........just the opposite!

Tinka,

Through your emotive words that I have read for some time, I feel I know you. There is so much within your heartfelt poetry that so many can relate to...but what you fail to notice in all your current evident pain, is the incredible, innate strength that you have within...build upon that. You cannot deny your heart...believe that you will find the right time and when you're least expecting it,... suddenly that right moment will appear...

Agree with Richard on this one you are seeking that escape route and you will find it and when you do you will look back in wonder as how you missed it for so long. Tears will dry, pain will ease and love will someday rule again. Till then hold onto your wits and move forward.

Timing is everything, and it seems that wisdom is developing some small roots and taking hold of your heart Tink, and your hope.

Remember each day is a gift and filled with many feelings, fulfilled and unfulfilled. The bridge will be found and will appear suddenly like a vessel emerging from the fog.

Keep your eyes clear and free from tears, keep your heart protected, the fires of hope stoked and burning, and most importantly, keep praying.

Rest, then make your decision and act on it. Oops...not that I'm telling you what to do! I don't even know the situation. I'm just guessing. I threw my husband out after eleven years of abuse...I had 5 children, no family, no money and no job. You reach a point where you finally do what you need to do because there simply are no longer any other acceptable options...no more excuses to fall back on. Jumping off my soapbox now...

I know these feelings, TinkaSweets. I have found sleep to be a fine escape in the past. I'm not getting much of it these days.
