“Alaska You” Alaska I believe you will thrill me With pure delight beyond all expectation And I heard this rumor Even the Prince of Wales said He prefers Alaska’s salmon To Scottish farmed fish…oh dear! This morning I had fish for breakfast And it took me on a trip to Alaska My Imagination took over And took me there Deep into Alaska I enjoyed the sightseeing And Fairbanks *A gold mining town* Alaska I believe Is the land without fences! Where animals truly outnumber people A place where nature reigns supreme I wish I could share a moment in time With some of the most wonderful animals on earth A place where Humpback whales migrate to the waters A place where I can come face-to-face With monumental icebergs The imagery in my head Snow-white mountaintops Untouched like a virgin bride Alaska I believe You are beautiful You thrill me from afar Copyright © September 12, 2006 Tinka Boukes

Alaska is a beautiful state. I am thrilled it has freezing temperatures that prevent many from living there. It is one of the few places left in the world where the animals ae still free.

Having visited Alaska a few times - I think you would truly love it, Tinky. And I would move up there in a second, if my wife would agree. It's one of the last pristine places left on the North American continent.
