"Passionate Heart”

I stride upon the memories of my dreams,
On-flowing memories of yesteryear.

But within the silence of my dream
I try so very hard,

To keep inside of me,

The very best part of you.

Now, upon the wetness of my pillow,
The only witness of my growing pain,
I wipe away my tears, with nothing to hide
And upon the rivers of my passionate heart,
Flowing memories, just fade away.

I wipe these tears away once more,

They, the only witness of this game
And as I weep through night and day,
Flowing memories, just fade away.

Then when I lull myself to sleep,
For another million dreams I seek,

The only witnesses of my smile

Are those beautiful rays of sunshine.

Rays, when the sun above shines again,

To fill my passionate heart,

With our love, long lost,

Loving you, once more.
