It will take more than dressing up as Indians then tossing tea overboard in order to force our UK councils and government to quite taxing us at every turn. Can you believe that the government is pondering the notion of taxing plastic shopping bags? It's using the spurious idea of protecting the planet as its excuse.
The sentiments of George Harrison's song, Taxman (Revolver LP),has contemporary resonance.

you know, of course that the tea tax was actually lower than the one it replaced. took the profits out of tea smuggling ... no taxation w/o representation gave a crude bit of yankee capitalism a status it otherwise did not deserve'
