"Your Love"

I want to express my fear

Telling you how much

You truly mean to me

And I am afraid of losing that key

That you keep to my heart

You have my heart in a tight grip...

So tight it hurts....

And the moment I dare to relax

And you let the grip go

A little by little

I stop fighting for survival

Please forgive me

For not being able

To trust unconditionally

Whatever the hell that trully means

Your heart is so fragile dear Tinks because it has been so bruised. Learning to trust again will take time and a loving partner. I wish so much for you to have that.
Don't give up any opportunity for a new start. There may be many obstacles but you, Tinks, are worth it.

I can understand completely Sissy Tinks. Trusting unconditionally is somewhat conditional these days for many. Everyone is so subject anymore to so much mental and spiritual duress, it's a wonder anyone is stable. Blessings ...

Prayers for strength and the love you so rightly deserve; painful poignance, longing in verse--well done.

Trust...the last famous word, before the love's rubber check bounces on the counter of the heart bank.

Trust is earned and cannot be unconditional, at least that is my opinion, especially when we have lived enough of life to know that things can change in love as well as day to day living. How many times do we hear people say:"I didn't mean to hurt you, or I didn't plan on falling in love with another." We must trust but we cannot close our eyes completely either...even in love.

The one who holds that grip realizes that your heart is in need of tight reigns. A loosening of those reigns does not mean you are losing him, he only wants to see how you do. That one who holds the key to your heart still watches over it, as a Lioness watches her cubs.
I Love you,
