"Lost & Alone"

For some reason I feel so lost tonight

Like I just lost something precious

It left me in fear...even tears ran freely

Thinking...what could've been

It was to be expected

If only I tried a little harder

But now it's gone

Blown away by a breeze

Dream now gone

Swept away

Gail forced wind touched my shin

Left me standing

ALONE

One of our overlooked but most powerful of emotional drives is to be connected.

How well I remember the feeling, Tinka. When I was a youngster, I truly was "Lost & Alone." But then something dramatic happened that changed my life. Not too long ago I wrote a short story about it called, "Rescue Me." I invite all to share my true adventure.

Nowadays, I try to keep this in mind: We are never alone. God is everywhere and never more than a prayer away.

Happy New Year, my dear friend.
Richard

Tinka this is so very sad
Could feel your sadness in your word
They say dreams forewarn of upcoming changes
Don't know if its true
In any case some times they leave us feeling empty

Outstanding writing the picture combines
Beautifully with verse

Wishing You Peace Love and Light....Hugsss too...Yolie
