Such a contrast between the interminable "waiting" for the sudden appearance or interjection of what is hoped for or expected, and the perpetual ocean of tears and pain keeping her on the edge. You capture a state of counterpoised limbo that inhabits many of our lives in some shape or form, Tinka, but, even with numb feet and dead legs, we seem to manage to hang on. Very powerful writing. Glad to see you back on the move in the Den again! :)) xx
