I don't know, I can't explain
I don't understand, I don't remember
I said to myself
As I worked on my garden
Trimming the rose bushes
Cutting the most beautiful, for myself.
The petals felt like silk
To my hard callused, cut, blistered hands
Their tone of yellow
Was soothing to my vision.
Butterflies and Pixies
Fly around me, buzzing my head
yelling sweet loving melodies
Bringing back
Wondeful moments
Of heavenly times past.
Tiny elves dance happily
Aound a circle of joy
Camp fire of sort
They offered me a treat
Of a green cake, they shared.
Gave me a piece, a tiny square
I ate it
Made me feel mellowed
With a freedom of mind.
Have another piece
Another elf said
Then you shall see, the true light
I ate it, like a treat.
Behold!
A million candle lights
Unfolded before me
Lighting my way.
My mind expanded
Beyond infinity
Where sound had color
And color sang sweet melodies.
Everything in the world
That was life intermingled,
All the had no knowledge
Now teach.

Really enjoyed the way you developed this piece, William. Isn't is amazing how working in the garden enables one to "open thyself"?.
