Darkness

~*~

Void resides within the Darkness

No colors

Not even shadows

Dancing on the walls.

~*~

Whatever moves won’t be seen

Just heard, maybe felt

Creeping or slithering.

~*~

Silently some walk up webs

Of deceive

Constructed to trap to capture prey

Alive they struggle

As they have their juices of life

Suckled

From the weak or the caught

Unfortunate souls

They see not the transparent adhesive

That snarls their miserable existence.

~*~

Darkness is praised

Darkness is feared

Darkness is welcome

By lovers obsessed with passion

In the heat of sensuous transactions

Taking some to where they’ve

Never been

Some never seen

Entwined in positions dreamt

Positions unheard nor tried.

~*~

Within the Darkness people cry and die

People scream and dream

Some sleep till the morning

Feeling refresh, rewarded

Relieved

From the fears of Darkness

They’re survived another night.

~*~

You always can fight those shadows with an humble lighted candle.
Then, D'Artagnan...see those stone stairs going up? they will take you out of the dungeons...

Some fear the darkness, some relish in the darkness, but you my friend write lovely words about the darkness. I really enjoyed this mystic poem, so when do we share a darkness collaboration? You and me in the darkness..now that sounds like an exciting adventure!

Peace, love, and light,
Amber "V"
