Do you know what I saw today?
A sky of opal jewels
Extraordinary colors
Pastels of shining beauty
Fluid whisps of silver streaks
Clouds of whitest pearls
Baby blues that jumped the sun
Like Monet's sky of swirls
Just when the evening shade came down
The sky deepened to navy
Then tiny illuminescent stars
Appeared in midnight gravy
The night had come and in its wake
A miracle did last
Til day was done and once again
The Master's final grasp
Each stroke was like a deep caress
Turning light to grays
Creating contrast with an art
And a night for all our days.
I love the imagery in this one - the rhythm is paced which helps slow the poem down - like 'gravy' and 'Monet's swirls'
It would of been nice to have abit more rhyme at the beginning of the poem - that's my only critism
You vision is overwhelming, like the words you wrote below the image that caught my attention for a long time before having even read the words. Art is a gift bestowed on us through which we are allowed to express and understand things that no other means allows us to do. Thank you for creating and sharing. I needed to be here and enjoyed reading and watching.
A glorious kaleidescope of colors and feelings you invoke in this surreal and metaphysical composition

Shimmering beauty in your clouds...ours are like onyx with flecks of gold. Thunderstorms just passed by--again. More expected today and tonight. And tomorrow...and no, no basement!!!!! LOL
Damn! Missed another one! Your words are so graphic, I can almost see the colors described. This is wonderful imaging; colorful - without apology. Go ajead, put a gold frame around it, and I'll buy it... price no matter. - Bill
