a New year!

Poem Artwork

A new year,
not a new fear.
A kind love,
not a new shove.
A well body,
not a frame shoddy.


Celebrate to the
music playing,
not worrying about
others saying.
Bringing the new year
in with a blast,
forgetting grudges
in the past.
Enjoying
here and now,
drinking and eating
good chow.


A new year of joy,
not letting the
devil destroy.
Praying for all
that's good,
enhancing a
joyous mood.
Canceling all
the jive,
appreciating
being alive.
