Silent night, holy night, all isn't calm and all isn't bright.
The world has the right
to remain silent
Anything that happens
on Christmas violent
can be held against it
on judgement day
Violent men will eventually
have to pay
However the world always
gives up its right
there are very few silent night
Christmas is suppose
to be a holy time of the year
instead it is full of violence
death and fear
It was the same when Jesus
came here
It'll be the same as every Christmas
comes near
Silent night
holy night
all suppose to be calm
all suppose to be bright
Holy men pray
for this night
Evil men try to take
their right

It is sad. Jesus came into a world where people were being people ... self-serving, greedy, violent. He tried to press his recalcitrant Jews into the orthodox worship of God, but that did not fit the greed of the Temple of his time, just like it fails to fit now. People are the most violent predators to ever stalk this earth and the message of peace, compassion, and love only plays to a precious few as the beat of savagry goes on.
Even in East Baltimore, some are singing Silent Night, and we wish them a Blessing, a Merry Christmas, and something better in 2009.
